fees when using paysafecard in the shop
hi,
I just recently started playing GW again so I've never bought anything from the shop so far but would like to give it a try ... since I don't have a credit card a friend told me that I could also use paysafecards which I am used to from other games. buuut he also told me that there might be fees when I use them - so does anyone know if that's true and what they are? thanks a lot for your help! |

I've used Visa giftcards (which seems to sounds like this paysafe thing) in the online store to buy pretty much everything I have bought in the online store and have never had it been charged extra. I'd say you are safe, unless this paysafe thing pulls that sort of scam, universal accepted giftcards are FTW for online games.

I bought a char slot and a make over kit with paysafe, worked perfect. Didn't have to pay anything extra.
Note: it only works in ncsoft store, NOT in guild wars store. |

to Leet Tankur: Paysafecard is a prepaid card or a voucher for a safe online shopping. Instead of using your credit card and getting endangered by having your money stolen, you use a paysafecard with a small ammount of money on your psc account and without giving any of your personal detail away. Many online games work with paysafecard, you can use it to top up your Skype account, for poker, betting and gambling but, unfortunately, as fas as I know, you can't use it for usual shopping.
to AstinS: I haven't found anything about special fees except this here: 12 months after the first payment with your paysafecard, or 24 months after the issue date ??? whatever comes first, we will charge an administration fee of ??2 per month and deduct this fee from your credit. (from the psc homepage) Do you mean these fees? |

Oh no! My friend gave me a psc as a small New Year's souvenir and it was a mistake, because now I'm sitting in front of computer and noone is setting the table. And the guests are on their way. looool, I'm so addicted.
